You should take him to the vet if you can afford it, the vet may advise you to put him down, but they cant make you. I have never heard of this before, but im sure it is something logic. But this may be something that is irreversible and the vets could advise you to put him down because of this, just keep in mind that your little rat has lived a long and happy life :) I would like to know what happens to the little guy.
